Felicia Lango - Art Decorator
Due to my Native American heritage, I feel compelled to represent original fine art from Native Americans. As a personal collector I feel I have an eye for the art and the ability to interpret the artist's vision.
In the recent past I have volunteered as an artist's assistant in shows held in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This experience exposed me to the market and introduced me to the native artists I will be representing. Their art consist of contemporary and traditional paintings from landscapes, animals, ledger art, etc.
I chose the name "One Moccasin" for my gallery in honor of Chief Truckee, a known Northern Paiute and influential prophet who was often referred to as "One Moccasin". The gallery is located in downtown Truckee in a historic mercantile building that exudes vintage charm.
